| Pages visited, referring site, country and device type | Your visit, counted without cookies | Automatic, anonymous |
Please don't send us sensitive personal information; we don't need any to arrange music.
Why we use it
We use your details to answer your request and to learn what bands and quartets need. We never sell your data or make automated decisions about you.
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your request and, if we take it on, arranging and sending the piece | Steps you asked us to take (Article 6(1)(b)) |
| One follow-up email asking how the arrangement worked, and a short call only if you agree | Legitimate interests: improving the service. You can decline at any time |
| Studying requests in aggregate (which pieces, line-ups and prices) to decide whether and how to launch | Legitimate interests |
| Anonymous website statistics | Legitimate interests |
If you ask for a piece still in copyright, we record its title. We may share anonymous totals, such as the share of copyrighted requests, with music publishers. We never share your name or email with them.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site and the form handle your data, and only on our instructions.
| Service | What it does | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Form | Receives and stores your request | Google (Apps Script and Google Sheets) |
| Our replies to you | Google (Google Workspace) | |
| Hosting | Serves the website | Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages) |
| Statistics | Counts visits without cookies | Cloudflare (Web Analytics) |
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and our emails until 12 months after the trial ends, then delete them or strip out anything that identifies you. Anonymous totals and statistics may be kept longer. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies. Our visit statistics are counted without cookies and can't identify you, so there is no cookie banner. Fonts, audio and scores are served from our own site. If we ever add a tool that sets cookies, we'll ask for your consent first.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data
- limit how we use it, or object to our use of it
- receive your data in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw any consent you've given
Email mail@syntonic-labs.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions: Ivan Svetunkov, mail@syntonic-labs.com.
